Athletes of the year

2020 - Athletes of the Year

Congratulations to the 2020 Acton District School Athletes of the Year - Warren Kammina, Kylie Wenger and Katrina Kamminga! These incredible athletes have made outstanding contributions to our Athletics Program and to our School over the past 4 years. All three have participated in multiple sports during their time at Acton and have been true builders of our Athletics Program. Aside from impressive athletic abilities, these outstanding students exemplify characteristics far more important to the development of strong teams: leadership, accountability, dedication, sportsmanship and selflessness. Thank you Warren, Kylie and Katrina.

Warren was especially skilled at being a calming influence, allowing teams to remain focussed on the task at hand and to get past mistakes. He was greatly respected by all teammates and coaches.
